چکیده

The use of CO2 as a CO surrogate for the carbonylation olefin has attracted considerable attention due to its abundance, readily availability, nontoxicity, and recyclability. In this work, we describe synthesis methyl propionate (MPA), key intermediate methacrylate in commercial Lucite Alpha process, by ruthenium-catalyzed methoxycarbonylation ethylene with carbonyl source. An efficient approach producing MPA been developed adding metal halide promoters dehydrating agents. Control experiments suggest that NHC-Ru-hydride may be real active species formed situ reaction Ru3(CO)12 ionic liquid (IL). NMR data demonstrate inorganic salts favor formation species, which is an important issue their promotion effect. terms strategy overcome chemical equilibrium addition agents IL participation tasked containing siloxyl group was employed Ru-catalyze ethylene, showed higher catalytic efficiency comparison without group.

Photoreduction of CO2 using [Ru(bpy)2(CO)L]n+ catalysts in biphasic solution/supercritical CO2 systems.

The reduction of CO2 in a biphasic liquid-condensed gas system was investigated as a function of the CO2 pressure. Using 1-benzyl-1,4-dihydronicotinamide (BNAH) as sacrificial electron donor dissolved in a dimethylformamide-water mixture and [Ru(bpy)2(CO)L](n+) as a catalyst and [Ru(bpy)3](2+) as a photosensitizer, the reaction was found to produce a mixture of CO and formate, in total about 25...
